My first holidays were perfect. I remember I was eight years old and we travelled from Barcelona’s Airport to El Cairo’s Airport, Egypt.
We did this trip to celebrate the golden anniversary of my grandparents. We were about twenty people, my cousins, my aunts, my parents, my brother and of course, my grandparents. The weather was brilliant, every day was sunny and welcom. While we were sleeping at the hotel, a fire started in the kitchen of the hotel, i was scared and we decided to take the most important tools and to leave the hotel. Everybody was running and shouting, my father was transmitting me very quietly and he was calming me and my brother. When we were out of the hotel, the hotel managers reported us that it had been only a simulation of a fire, when they reported this to me they calm me down a lot.
Afterwards, we decided that to celebrate the misunderstanding going to have dinner in a great restaurant. While we were having dinner, we laugh a lot thinking about the strange situation.
I was happy to celebrate this nice meeting with my family in Egypt.
Good text, but be careful with the typing mistakes you have occasionally let through. By the way, what 'tools' did you carry with you? And what was your father 'transmit' you?
ResponEliminaRevise the verb tenses too. Some verbs should be in the past.
